Some people prefer electric wax melters as there is no flame and they may be considered a safer option, especially if there are children or pets in the home. This is an entirely personal choice though; there is no right or wrong or preferred type of wax melt warmer.

Wax melts are really easy to use – just take one (or more, depending on how strong you want the fragrance to be or how large your room is) and place it in your chosen warmer.

Next, light the tealight or switch on your electric warmer and when you’re finished, you simply switch off your electric warmer or blow out the tealight and the wax will solidify until you’re ready to use it again. It’s as easy as that!

Note that the wax doesn’t disappear into thin air as you use it, but it will lose its fragrance over time and need to be replaced.

If you choose an electric warmer, please do hide the cable away so that it doesn’t become a trip risk and always take care, no matter whether you’re using an electric wax warmer or a tealight warmer, to never leave it unattended or within reach of children or pets.

Safety first – always!
