If you’re in the habit of using wax melts, you may find this a strange question. However, many people are yet to discover the joy of having the delicious fragrances of wax melts perfuming their home and may still be using candles for this purpose – or even nasty chemical sprays.

So, let’s start with the basics. Shmelts – also known as wax melts or wax tarts are very similar to candles insofar as they are pieces of wax that give off a fragrance when melted, but unlike candles, they don’t have a wick.
